Ian brings over 30 years of experience in the housing sector, with a career spanning frontline services, regeneration, and executive leadership.
 

Ian began his career at Southwark Council and later worked at Waltham Forest on major regeneration projects. He went on to serve as Development Director and then CEO at Stoneridge Housing Action Trust, followed by leadership roles at Shaftsbury Housing Association and Sanctuary Housing Group, where he was Chief Operating Officer. He subsequently became Chief Executive of Aldwyck Housing Group and Catalyst before joining Peabody in October 2021.
 

A chartered surveyor and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing, Ian is also an alumnus of Harvard Business School. He sits on the CIH Governance, Ethics, Remuneration and Nominations Committee, the CIH Asia International Limited Board, and the board of the National Federation of Housing Associations. He co-chaired the Quality and Trust Steering Group, helping to shape the sector’s response to the Better Social Housing Review.
 

Originally from Runcorn in the north west of England, Ian is a keen musician, a multiple marathon runner, and a passionate Everton football club supporter.
