Awards
Community Housing Providers (CHPs) may nominate themselves for eligible award categories. Partner organisations may submit nominations for eligible Development Award categories, provided the nominated organisation is aware of and supports the submission. Collaboration Award nominations are open to sector partners and public sector organisations only and cannot be submitted by Community Housing Providers. All nominations should have the appropriate organisational approvals before submission.
An organisation may submit multiple nominations across different award categories. However, each organisation may submit only one nomination per category.
Strong nominations: clearly explain the challenge or opportunity describe what was done and why demonstrate measurable outcomes explain the broader benefit to residents, communities or the sector provide evidence to support the claims being made address every assessment criterion

No, a submission cannot be saved once the process has started.
No. Once submitted, nominations cannot be edited. If you need to make a correction, please contact the Australian Community Housing team.
You will receive an email confirmation once your nomination has been successfully submitted.
Nominations are assessed against the published assessment criteria for the relevant award category. Judges consider the evidence provided in support of each criterion.
Incomplete nominations may not be eligible for assessment. Please ensure all required fields are completed and all required supporting material is provided before submitting your nomination.
Please only include information you are comfortable sharing with the judging panel. Avoid including confidential or commercially sensitive material unless it has been appropriately summarised or de-identified.

Eligible nominations are assessed by an independent judging panel against the published assessment criteria. A moderator oversees the judging process to ensure consistency, fairness and transparency.
Yes. Community Housing Providers (CHPs) may nominate another CHP for CHP of the Year. Partner organisations may submit nominations for eligible Development Award categories, provided the nominated organisation is aware of and supports the submission.
Yes. However, each nomination must independently address and meet the assessment criteria for the relevant award category.
No. It is the responsibility of the nominator to ensure the submission is complete. ACH may contact you only if replacement images are required for promotional purposes.

Yes. Nominations are provided only to the independent judging panel and ACH staff involved in administering the awards. Information submitted will be treated confidentially, except where permission has been provided for promotional use.

Winners will be announced at the 2026 Australian Community Housing Awards ceremony on 17 November 2026.
